After a long break, Darkside’s website is back! Since the last update, a few things have happened. In 2018, we won the national championship! We lost in the final in 2019, but one of our captains, Matt Gouchoe-Hanas, won the Callahan award. The 2020 season was canceled due to COVID, but since then, we have won back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022!
We just wrapped up our 2023 fall season, with wins at Brickyard and Fall Easterns. We have our first spring tournament from January 28-29 in Chapel Hill. We then travel to Charlotte for Queen City Tune Up on February 11th and 12th. After that, we have Smoky Mountain Invite at Tennessee and Fall Easterns at Wilmington on March 4-5 and April 1-2, respectively. To wrap up our season, we have sectionals in late April, regionals in early May, then Nationals from May 26-29 in Mason, Ohio.
