Why Give?

This endowment was created, in part, to honor UNC Ultimate’s historic championships in the ’21, ’22, ’23 seasons in both the women’s and open divisions. No other school had ever won both divisions in back to back years, let alone three years in a row. This recent success sparked the idea of creating this endowment, in the hopes of creating a lasting method of supporting future generations of the teams.

More importantly, every donation to this fund serves to reinforce the positive culture both teams have developed, and to give all students from all backgrounds the opportunities to participate. It serves as a reflection of the impact that the community has had on our lives, as well as the lives of all who have been touched by UNC Ultimate throughout the history of both teams. This endowment is an investment in the future, not just for the teams, but for the people who pass through the program.
